The number of Russians in Estonia increased by 53%

125 thousand Russians stayed in the hotels of Estonia within January – November 2010 period. That’s 53% more than for the same period of 2009. The major increase, 30500 more guests, was registered in Tallinn.

According to the data of the statistics department of Estonia the number of overnights of Russians in the spa-hotels increased by 73%, in other accommodation types – by 43%. In 2009 the share of spa-hotels in the total number of overnights reached 28% and in 2010 it  became 34%.

Russian tourists take the second place in Estonia after the guests from Finland.
