Visit USA organized the first familiarisation trip to Colorado

The number of Russian tourists that visited USA in 2010 reached around 158 thousand, which is 8% more than in 2009, reported to RIA Novosti Margarita Babayan, the head of non-commercial organization Visit USA. 

The main USA destination for the Russians is still New York, that was visited by 108 thousand of Russians last year, that is 14 thousand more than a year before. And the number of partners of Visit USA within the same period increased from 20 to 52.

According to the data of  the Ministry of trade of USA in 2010 the country received 60 mio tourists, 9% more than in 2009. The main markets for USA are traditionally Canada and Mexico. 14 out of 15 major markets supplying the arrivals to USA increased the tourists flow. Only the number of guests from Great Britain went down by 1%.

The first fam-trip of Visit USA to Colorado was organized this year. The group consisting of representatives of Russian travel trade and journalists visited Denver, Aspen/Snowmass, Telluride, Keystone, Vale, Steamboat and  Houston.
