Tourist flow from Russia to Egypt run low

Rosaviation announced that 3837 passengers were brought from Egypt to Russia on February 2 and more than 5 thousand persons from the beginning of the month. 277 tourists flew to Egypt the same day, most of the flights to Egypt operated either empty or with minimal seat load of 5 – 10 passengers.

Press-secretary of Rostourism Oleg Moseev informed that by the evening of February 3 around 33 thousand Russians remain on the Egyptian resorts. He is sure that at this pace at least two thirds of the tourists could be brought home from Egypt till the end of this week.

At the same time less than 1% of Russian tourists in Hurghada chose to interrupt their vacation and leave earlier than planned, said special representative of Rostourism on the resort Sergey Teodorovich. According to the daily monitoring the number of requests for ahead-of-schedule departure reached only 200 within the last four days.
