First ever travel guide on Chelyabinsk Region released
A presentation of the
guide-book Chelyabinsk Region: Here Dreams Come True was held in
the regional natural history museum. The book tells about
There
are over 1130 illustration on 400 pages. Besides the essential travel
information – food spots, hotels, means of communication and so on, the book
tells about the unicity of the land, its people, history, culture, economics,
architecture, sports and legends. The Head of the regional natural history
museum Vladimir Bogdanovskiy notes rich illustrative material was selected for
the
Chronographers,
sifting the past of the region, as well as the archival service specialists
were engaged in the process of the guide-book’s creation.
The guide-book is issued
in ten thousand copies in Russian language ans three thousand – in English. Ist
first readers were sportsmen, coaches, guests of the European Judo Championship
held in Chelyabinsk. Besides, the guide-books were channeled off across Russia
with the participants of Russian Student Spring. It’s being negotiated about
issuing an additional edition for selling in the city’s shops.
