The Russians helped Czechia to increase the income from tourism

CzechTourism reported that in 2010 the income from tourism in Czech Republic increased by 4.9 mio crowns (more than 5 billion €). The increase of the income is first of all related to the increase of the number of tourists from Russia and USA

In 2010 Czechia was visited by 413.8 thousand Russian tourists which is 27% more than in 2009.
