Mexico will welcome 40 thousand Russian guests

Almost 22.5 million foreign tourists will visit Mexico in 2010. These figures were announced by the Center of information and statistics of tourism entities (CIEET) of Mexico. This index is 5.73% higher than the statistics of 2009.

The majority of tourists are guests from the USA and Canada. This year due to the change in technique of visa formalities in Mexico an increase of Russian guests is expected. According to the prognosis of the Embassy of Mexico in Russia there could be around 40000 Russian tourists, though in 2009 there were only 15000 arrivals registered.
