Transaero to fly to Paris seven times weekly

08:07, 15 июня 2012

Transaero Airlines is getting ready to launch regular flight MoscowParis. Transaero gained access and will perform flight to the capital of France seven times a week – confirmed the Head of Press Service of the major air carriers Sergey Bykhal to RATA-news. It will be recalled that Aeroflot and Air France were nearly monopolists of the destination.

Travel market positively refers to the decision of the Federal Air Transport Agency. In the opinion of the General Director of Megaplus Tours Company Victoria Kizimova, one more player on such popular destination is a milestone event that can launch a regular competition on this destination. Mrs. Kizimova believes it might lead to price reduction for flight to Paris: “It’s insane when in May it’s impossible to buy tickets to Paris for less than 45 thousand rubles”. She hopes Transaero will set the destination price catering only on demand.

The BSI’s Head of French Department Natalya Brodskaya is in agreement with her colleague: “It’s good that a third carrier appeared on the destination. The more competitors we have on the makret, the lower prices we get, as now prices are over the top”.  According to Mrs. Brodskaya, travelers who prefer low-cost flights are forced to choose stop-over flights as they are cheaper than the direct ones of Aeroflot or Air France.

Our experts confirmed a good demand on France this season and are sure that the new carrier will help to increase the number of wishing to travel to Paris. “A lot of them should be among independent travelers”, - stressed both interlocutors.
